Sure! I adore the flexible, straight on skin approach. It can be wrapped around the body, laid on top or laid ON!
It is 80cm long and 20cm wide and has a total of 240 LED lights embedded with a 660nm and 850nm wavelength range, within at 120° Beam Angle and tested at 0μT EMF Emission. The power output is 30w.
The controller has a few functions, and all I use is ON, lights set to ALL (meaning both the red and infra red), or just the Infrared setting (right hand arrow, press until it says 850, it will only have a very faint glow).
If I do have the lights on all, I sometimes do a 5min intense burst on Level 5 (top button). This is great for more acute injuries.
I have tried and tested many, many, may devices and am rapt to be able to offer this to you, to me, to my clients, my friends and family. It is low cost, effective and has the two wavelengths of light I love best - red and infra red! It seriously ticks all my boxes on a personal and professional level.
This incredible value - ie very INexpensive device - costs $220, plus $15 postage anywhere in Australia.
Note - I can quote other countries if required. I can also create a friendly for you tax invoice. Ask me more about that on the order form!
A 120-degree beam angle provides broad coverage, making it suitable for treating large areas of the skin/body simultaneously, although a longer treatment time is more desirable. The wide dispersion ensures that the light is evenly distributed across the treatment area, reducing the risk of hotspots and ensuring consistent treatment outcomes.
- Note - Although a wider beam angle generally means less depth penetration compared to narrower angles, scattering can help redirect light deeper into tissues, potentially benefiting deeper structures like muscles or joints. I'll add more below on scattering if you are interested!
A minimum therapeutic treatment time is designated at 3min, and my suggestion is for at least 15minutes on any one treatment zone on the ALL setting. The timer automatically sets itself for 30minutes. You can easily use the Infrared all day if on devices, with intermittent bursts if teh ALL setting (I use my device wrapped around my belly, on my knees or feet, or ebven tucked down my top to rest on my spine whilst working on my laptop).
I have found this daily, consistent approach to be most effective.
Obviously the pad can then be moved around as required, wanted, needed!
Your device comes with a 1 year Warranty from date of purchase.
Red and infrared light therapy work together to support health and energy by utilising specific wavelengths of light that penetrate the skin and tissues (even to bones!), stimulating cellular processes that enhance overall well-being. Here's a simplified explanation of how these therapies function and their benefits:
How Red and Infrared Light Therapy Work Together
- Wavelengths and Penetration:
- Red light therapy uses wavelengths typically around 630-700 nanometers, while infrared light therapy uses longer wavelengths, usually between 700-1200 nanometers. This device is 660nm and 850nm.
- Red light primarily affects closer to the surface surface, promoting collagen production and improving skin and underlying tissue health.
- Infrared light penetrates deeper into tissues, reaching muscles, joints, and even bones, which can aid in pain relief and tissue repair.
- Cellular Energy Production:
- Both types of light stimulate mitochondria, the powerhouses of cells, to produce more adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy currency of cells. It is more than that, read more HERE if you like!
- Happy mitochondria = Happy life via enhanced cellular function, leading to improved energy levels and overall vitality.
It is Important to Increase CELLULAR Hydration with Electrolytes:
Aim for ~2–2.5 liters of fluids daily, spread through the day. Include mineral-rich fluids – e.g. electrolyte supplements (such as BEAM Minerals or Quinton sea minerals added to water) or a pinch of celtic sea salt plus a squeeze of lemon in water. Electrolytes (no added sugar!!!!) will ensure the water actually enters cells and improves “bioelectric” function.
Pro tip: Start the morning with a tall glass of water + minerals to replenish after sleep.
EMF Hygiene (Digital Detox): At night, please keep the phone on airplane mode or in another room, and turn off WiFi if possible. Non-native EMFs can cause cell membranes to resonate improperly, hindering water flow into cells and potentially contributing to poor mitochondrial function and intracellular water ---- all the things you are working on whilst using your panel!!! By reducing night-time exposure, you allow your cells to restore their ideal electrical gradient for healing.
Oxygen & Breath: You may also appreciate incorporating daily breathing exercises. For example, 5 minutes of deep diaphragmatic breathing (inhale 4s, hold 7s, exhale 8s) or practicing Buteyko method can increase oxygen delivery at different times during your day. Hydration + oxygen = better mitochondrial ATP production. We might also encourage spending time outdoors in fresh air (double benefit: natural negative ions from nature can enhance cell voltage, and sunshine provides all natural wavelengths of light, Vitamin D and boosts mood).
Health Benefits
-
- Red and infrared light therapy promote faster wound healing and tissue repair by increasing circulation and reducing inflammation
- This is beneficial for conditions like arthritis, muscle injuries, joint pain and bone health and chronic pain
-
Red light therapy boosts collagen production, reducing wrinkles and improving skin texture
- It can also help treat skin conditions such as psoriasis and acne
- Recent studies suggest that red light therapy can lower blood sugar levels by enhancing insulin sensitivity and reducing glucose spikes after meals AND after blue light exposure
- Red and IR Light therapy can enhance lymphatic circulation, promoting detoxification and reducing swelling
By combining red and infrared light therapies, individuals can experience a comprehensive range of benefits that support both physical health and mental well-being. These therapies are non-invasive, making them an attractive option for those seeking natural, holistic, safe, non-invasive and well researched ways to enhance their health and energy levels.
Benefits of Light Scattering
- Chromophore Interaction:
- Light scattering enhances interaction with various chromophores in the skin, such as hemoglobin and melanin, which can lead to improved therapeutic effects like enhanced circulation and pigmentation balance.
- Mineral and Water Reflection:
- Scattered light can interact with minerals and water within tissues, promoting hydration and potentially improving cellular function by influencing water dynamics at the cellular level.
- Enhanced Absorption:
- Scattering increases the likelihood of light being absorbed by target tissues rather than passing through without interaction. This can enhance the efficacy of photobiomodulation by ensuring more photons reach the cells that need them.
